The Warren County Commission is recognizing Jan. 22-28 as Warren County School Choice Week.The commission signed a proclamation stating that the county “is home to a variety of high-quality public and nonpublic schools from which parents can choose for their children, in addition to families who educate their children in the home.”The proclamation is intended as a statement that educational variety creates a more vibrant community. Presiding Commissioner Roger Mauzy said School Choice Week is celebrated nationally.“It recognizes education at all levels and all settings,” Mauzy said. “That can be private, public or home school.”School Choice Week
