The Warrenton city pool was bustling with activity Tuesday, Aug. 10, as area residents found a way to escape from temperatures in the high 90s. Staysha Woodson, 11, of Warrenton, exits the slide while swimming with her friends. The pool will be open through Monday, Sept. 6. Beginning Aug. 19, the pool will switch to its school schedule for the remainder of the summer. The pool will be open on the weekdays from 3-8 p.m. and from noon-9 p.m. on weekends. The daily pool admission is $3.
