Albert "Al" Dwight Holden

Albert Dwight Holden passed away on Sept. 3, 2022, at the age of 88. Albert was born January 19, 1934, in DuQuoin, IL, to the late Leo and Elsie Holden nee Macke.

Al is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly Holden nee Beach, of Warrenton; two sons, Adam (Sheryl) Holden and Roe (Lisa) Holden; daughter, Tara (Dana) Devlin; and grandchildren, David, Issac, Nora, Clara, Barrett and Marcus Holden. He is preceded in death by his father, Leo Holden, and mother, Elsie Mae Holden. 

Albert served in the U.S. Army. While in the military, he was an aerial photographer on the aircraft carrier "Valley Forge." He retired from P.D. George Co. as sales manager, and after retirement he went on to work for 12 years at Innsbrook driving range. He was also the co-owner of Glass Garden Stained Glass in Truesdale. Albert was an avid sailor, golfer, hunter and fisherman and included his family in all activities. Al coached soccer for his sons, and started the "Brave" traveling soccer team in 1990. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Services for Mr. Holden will be private. Memorials may be made to Childrens Hospital in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383.
