Wright City aldermen approved the city’s 2023 tax rate during the Aug. 24 meeting.
The city had a public hearing at the Aug. 10 meeting, but no member of the public spoke.
The new tax rate for the general fund is $0.4853 for every $100 of assessed valuation.
The new tax rate for the park fund is $0.0901 for every $100 of assessed valuation.
The new tax rate for the street light fund is $0.1803 for every $100 of assessed valuation.
The new tax rate for the debt service fund is $0.1091 for every $100 of assessed valuation.
Aldermen approved the new rates by a vote of 4-0.
