The Warrenton offense needed three plays to take a lead they would not relinquish in their dominant win over St. Charles West Thursday night.
Warrenton (5-0, 2-0 GAC North) scored seven touchdowns in the first half in their 53-14 win over St. Charles West.
The Warrenton offense was led by Austin Haas, who rushed for five touchdowns in the first half. Haas caught a 58-yard touchdown pass from Charlie Blondin on the first play of the game and scored on a 1-yard touchdown run two plays later. Haas added a 92-yard touchdown run on the first play of Warrenton's second possession.
Warrenton also scored a pair of touchdowns through the air. Chance McPike hauled in an 11-yard touchdown catch on a fade route. Mason Thompson also hauled in a touchdown catch.
Brandon Johnson intercepted a St. Charles West pass and returned it for a touchdown on the first drive of the third quarter.
The entire second half was played with a running clock.
