The Warrenton Warriors football team got a proper send off Friday afternoon as the Warrenton Police Department, Warrenton Fire Protection District, and Warren County Sheriff's Department escorted them from the high school down Highway 47 to exit onto Interstate 70.
The Warriors are on their way to Parkway North for the district semifinal football game. A win would give Warrenton 11 straight and put them in the district championship game on Nov. 10.
