Warren County residents will have two opportunities this weekend to pay tribute to veterans.
The first event is at noon Nov. 4 at Harmonie Church, 24924 S. Stracks Church Road in Wright City.
The event, which will feature re-enactors, colorguard, gun salute, live music and more, is designed to honor the unknown Civil War veterans buried in a mass grave in the church’s cemetery.
Soldiers from both the Union and Confederate armies are buried in the mass grave.
A grave marker will be dedicated during the event.

This ceremony comes the weekend before Veteran's Day is marked in two separate Veterans Day ceremonies.

There will also be a ceremony at Daniel Boone Post 180 Legion Hall in Marthasville that begins at 11 a.m.
