Donald B. King of Lake Sherwood, MO, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022. He was born on July 11, 1932, in Corvallis, OR, to the late George and Marian King (nee: Barnett). He had reached the age of 90 years.
Donald was married to the late Judith S. King on Oct. 29, 1955, in New York, NY, and spent 63 wonderful years together before her passing in 2019. They were blessed with two children, Carmen Maria and Donald George. Don had earned several advanced law degrees and was a law professor at St. Louis University for more than 25 years. During his career, he had written over 12 legal textbooks and had over 100 articles and law journals, and he was also the founder of the International Academy of Commercial and Consumer Law. Don loved to travel and was able to make four different trips around the world, accomplishing six continents in 40 days, which included several extensive experiences and many cutting-edge opportunities. Don was a brilliant man who was recognized around the world as an expert in commercial and consumer law.
Don is survived by his loving children, Carmen King and Donald King. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judith; and his parents, George, and Marian.
