Mercy is helping lead the way in transforming nursing care through technology. In collaboration with Microsoft, Mercy is playing a key role in the development of the first commercially available ambient AI solution for nurses within Microsoft Dragon Copilot.
Ambient AI operates in the background and is designed to adapt to and recognize human interactions in everyday settings. With the consent of patients, Dragon Copilot uses ambient AI to document nursing observations from conversations between a patient and caregiver which automatically feed into the patient’s electronic health record. This new tool is already being used in inpatient units at Mercy hospitals in St. Louis and Springfield, Missouri, and Fort Smith, Arkansas, with more Mercy locations expected to adopt it later this year.

The Rolling Stones 4-H club kicked off October’s 4-H Week with several collection activities. Several club members from different Warren County 4-H clubs came together and collected and packed items for First Responder Baskets to show their ongoing appreciation for the service our first responders provide to Warren County and to say THANK YOU for your service. The clubs hand delivered the baskets to all the first responder locations throughout Warren County.

After previously rejecting a zoning code amendment for planned development areas, the Wright City Board of Aldermen approved a revised version of the ordinance by a 3-1 vote during its meeting Thursday, Nov. 6.
The amended version reduces the average lot size to 21,780 square feet in the SR-2 zoning areas. Alderman Kim Arbuthnot cast the lone dissenting vote.

Officials with the Wright City Fire Protection District said the cause of a fire that started in a garage of a home on Beretta Court is still under investigation.
A fire Saturday at a home on Beretta Court in Wright City was contained and crews were able to save 50 percent of the home according to an official with the Wright City Fire Protection District.
