A Union, Mo., woman was killed in a fatal car accident July 11 north of Marthasville.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, the fatal crash occurred at 4:30 p.m. on Highway 47 near Coventry Circle.
Priscilla S. Luke, 69 of Union, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, 25-year-old Ellie Unerstall, of Washington, was taken to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis with serious injuries.
The report indicates that Unerstall's 2020 Ford Escape was traveling southbound on Highway 47 north of Coventry circle when it crossed the centerline and struck the 2015 Toyota Prius being driven by Luke.
Both drivers were listed as wearing their safety device. Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Patriot Towing.
