Mr. William Lofton Hines, of Warrenton, MO, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at his home. Bill was born on January 10, 1950 in St. Louis, MO, to Kimmie and Helen (Nee: Pruett) Hines. Bill had reached the age of 72 years.
Bill proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He was united in marriage to Geneva Mansfield on August 7, 2019. Bill was an avid pool player and enjoyed bowling on a team for many years. He also enjoyed watching football and baseball. Bill liked to be outdoors, cutting grass on his riding lawn mower and quiet time spent fishing. He had a special relationship with his dogs, Bailey and Walter, whom he loved very much. He liked to watch old John Wayne movies and enjoyed seeing Elvis Presley impersonators live. In his free time, you could almost always see him dancing and making people laugh. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Bill Hines was preceded in death by his parents, Kimmie and Helen; previous wife, Kimberly Hines (Nee: Howell); two grandchildren, Samuel French and Hayden Haver; one brother, Bill Armstrong. He is survived by his wife, Geneva; seven children, Tonya Starman (Jared), David Hines (Krystal), Ashley Caine (Daniel), Madisan Hines, Charles McCullen (Dora), John McCullen (Becky), Tim McCullen; 14 grandchildren, William, Gabriella, Gulianna, Giovanna, Riko, Samantha, Tonya, Krystapher, Kaliah, Mya, Khloe, Marlo, Riley-Jo, Hayden; three siblings, Tom Armstrong (Bev), Al Hines (Donna), Theresa Lamka (Mike); other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life for Mr. William Lofton Hines will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Monday, also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors.
