Wendy Garrett Dennison

Wendy Garrett Dennison passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 59.
 
Born in Troy, in 1963. Wendy graduated from Montgomery R II and received an associate degree from Central Missouri State University. While at college she met Donald Durham from Indianola, Iowa through her roommate. She married Donald Durham and from this union had two sons, Cole and Hunter.
 
While living in Dallas, Texas she worked for Procter and Gamble, and then Coca-Cola. She returned to her hometown in 1996 and worked as a property manager at the Warrenton outlet mall. In 2002 she married Curt Dennison and moved to Washington. She worked for R D Laboratories from 2004-21. They traveled to France, Portugal, and several places in the United States. Until recent years, they traveled annually to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.
 
Wendy was a very warm and giving person. She was like a second mother to a lot of her children’s friends. Her house was always full of fun and laughter. The only thing she loved more than a good sunset was Coca-Cola, and the Green Bay Packers!
 
She was preceded in death by her son Cole, father Richard, and nephew Dalton. Surviving Wendy is her son Hunter, mother Alice, three brothers Chris (Philippa), Stephen, Jason (Robin) sister Leigh Ann, all of Jonesburg, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.
 
Visitation will be  Saturday, January 7, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Jonesburg Methodist Church, Jonesburg. The funeral will follow at 12 p.m. with burial at Jonesburg City Cemetery.
