Wayne Joseph Queen

Mr. Wayne Joseph Queen of Warrenton passed away at his home on Monday, June 5. He was born on January 8, 1955, in St. Louis to Roy and Dorothy (nee: Moyer) Queen. He had reached the age of 68 years.

Wayne was united in marriage to Paula "Jane" Davis in November 1986 in St. Charles. Wayne worked in the maintenance profession for several years. He enjoyed listening to and playing music, especially the Bass. Wayne loved being outdoors, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He also had a bit of a green thumb and enjoyed caring for his garden. He also loved animals of all kinds. Wayne was a good-natured, hard-working man, who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. 

Wayne Joseph Queen was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Dorothy; three siblings, James "Jimmy" Queen, Linda Stogsdill, and Sonny Queen. Surviving family members include his wife Jane Queen; three children, Rob Davis and wife Tabitha, Tara Hummert, and husband Anthony, Jesse Queen; three grandchildren, Dakota Davis, Cainen Davis, and Joseph Wayne Hummert; other relatives and many close family friends.

The family will host a Celebration of Wayne's life on Tuesday, June 13,  at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton from 10 A.M. - 12 P.M. They will then honor his life with a service also on Tuesday, June 13, beginning at 12 P.M., at the funeral home with Pastor Steven Kohler officiating. A private burial will follow at the Queen Family Cemetery.
