Warren County will be the site of two homecoming parades in three days as Warrenton and Wright City prepare to celebrate their alumni.
The Wright City High School parade kicks things off at 1 p.m. Sept. 29.
This year’s parade theme is “Around the World” and starts near the church on Bell Road. It will then travel north past the middle school to Westwoods Road, and then turn east until it finishes at the high school building.
Warrenton High School will follow with its parade at 2 p.m. Oct. 1.
This year’s theme is “Once upon a time at Homecoming.”
The parade begins near South Morgan Street in Warrenton and will travel down Booneslick Road until it reaches Pinckney Street in Truesdale. The parade will then turn south on Pinckney and follow it until it reaches the high school.
