A Warrenton man is facing a felony charge for allegedly choking a woman at a home in Truesdale.
Steven W. Inzer, 53, had a warrant issued for his arrest last week for the assault, which reportedly took place Jan. 15. Inzer is charged with second-degree domestic assault, a class D felony.
In court filings, a Warren County sheriff’s deputy who investigated the assault said the victim in the case managed to record the assault. During the conflict, Inzer allegedly pinned the woman against a wall and choked her until she couldn’t breathe, authorities said. The deputy who reviewed the video footage from the assault reported that Inzer is visible choking the woman.
The warrant for Inzer’s arrest was issued Jan. 22. It does not allow for a bond after Inzer is arrested until he appears before a judge.
Inzer has a number of other past criminal convictions, including for multiple drug possession charges in recent years.
