11:09 a.m. update: The Warren County Emergency Management Agency says the shelter in place order has been lifted. Only those at one of the two properties near the site of the incident should remain sheltering in place.
11:04 a.m. update: The Warren County Sheriff's Department says several local departments are assisting with the fire.
Officers with the Warrenton Fire Protection District are assisting at a large fire in Jonesburg.
Smoke from the fire can be seen from Warrenton.
According to information from the Warren County Emergency Management Agency, numerous crews are involving in fighting the fire just south of Interstate 70 and east of Pendleton.
Materials involved in the fire include fabrics, plastic, wood, and silk mar. Those in the path of the smoke are asked to shelter in place by closing all doors and windows, turning of their HVAC system, and staying indoors.
The fire is described as a low level hazard.
KMOV out of St. Louis is reporting the fire is at a scrap yard near Jonesburg.
It is not yet clear what started the fire.
