Warren County residents can honor Veterans Day at two separate events this weekend.
The Daniel Boone Post 180, 1036 N. Highway 47 in Marthasville, will honor veterans with a service beginning at 11 a.m. The guest speaker is Navy Cmdr. Pattie Lee, a 28-year veteran of the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserve.
That will be followed by a carry-in dinner with meat and drink provided. The dinner is followed by a cross shoot and bingo and a dance beginning at 7 p.m. featuring music by Phase Five.
The event is free.
There will also be a ceremony beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Tribute to Veterans Memorial in Warrenton. After the short ceremony at the memorial site, the service will continue at the Warrenton Elks Lodge, 1101 E. Veterans Parkway.
