The Wright City Community Food Pantry is seeking volunteers and sponsors this summer to help to feed children, teens and their families while the school cafeteria is closed.
Volunteers are needed to prepare about 100 sack lunches a day, Monday through Friday, for the first three weeks of August. The lunches will be assembled each day at the food pantry location (217 E. 1st Street N.) and then served at the food pantry and at Wright City North Apartments (behind Dollar General). All ages are welcome, but any volunteer under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
Visit https://signup.com/go/AqjJdth to sign up. Sponsors should email Pastor Joe Purl at joeandkimpurl@gmail.com.
