Virginia S. Garrick passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 82. Virginia was born January 21, 1939, in St. Paul, MO, to Chris A. and Frances Mennemeier (nee Heppermann).
Virginia is survived by her son, Chris (Lauren) Garrick; one sister, Mary (Gene) Zeisler; two brothers, Ronald (Cathy) Mennemeier, Tom (Barb) Mennemeier; and two grandchildren, Camille and Edison.
She is preceded in death by her husband Carl, her parents Chris and Frances, and brother Alois.
Virginia was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devoted Catholic and enjoyed gardening, sewing, and singing in the church choir. Virginia loved working around the house and spending time with her grandchildren.
Virginia taught grade school and preschool for several years.
Virginia will be missed by all the family and friends whose lives she touched.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 28 from 4-7 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 904 S. Highway 47, Warrenton.
A funeral service will be conducted Friday, Oct. 29, beginning 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Warrenton. Burial will follow at the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Warrenton.
