Troy Chris Morris of Wright City, passed away on April 24, at the age of 59.

Troy had a giving spiritual heart that was evident in his service in the U.S. Army, helping at Bristol Manor in Warrenton, and he attended the police academy. He had a genetic eye disease that limited his ability to serve others in the capacity he would have liked, but anyone who knew him would attest to his loving nature.

He is survived by his brother, Jay Dee (Pam) Morris of Portsmouth, VA; sister, Cynthia Townsend of Wentzville; ten nieces and nephews, Max Morris, Emily Morris, Charles Morris, Keith (Darla) Morris, Stephanie Files, Sean Morris, Kevin Townsend, Jason (Laura) Townsend, Eric (Kristie) Townsend, Gary (Shellie) Townsend; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Virgil Eugene Morris, mother, Norma Ruth Morris (nee Thurman), brother, Thurman Wayne Morris, and brother-in-law, Leon Townsend.

No services are being held. Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association or a donation to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
