Theodore V. "Ted" Meyer, 86, of Marthasville, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, November 15. He was born on October 14, 1939, to the late Theodore and Rosaly (nee: Sickmann) Meyer.
Ted is survived by his loving wife, Rita (Hellmann) Meyer; his five children, Mary Jo Trentmann, John Meyer, Steve Meyer, Daniel Meyer and Cheryl Burnham. He was the proud grandfather of 13; and great-grandfather to four. He is also survived by his 5 brothers; his 4 sisters; his 7 sisters-in-law, and his 5 brothers-in-law; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ted was preceded in death by his parents; his 6 siblings, and 6 in-laws.
Visitation for Ted Meyer will be held on Sunday, November 23, from 3 P.M. - 6 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home in Marthasville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 A.M. on Monday, November 24, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Concord Hill, Missouri with internment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred or donations made in memory of Ted to St. Ignatius Church.
