Theodore "Ted" Meyer passed away on December 3, at the age of 83. Ted was born March 16, 1940, in St. Louis, to Herman and Margaret Meyer nee Henning.
Ted married Regina Howard in 1974 and they celebrated 59 years together. Ted enjoyed playing music, especially harmonica and guitar. Ted loved all animals but especially loved horses. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife Regina Meyer nee Howard of Wright City; five sisters, Anna Marie Murphy, Kathy Meyer, Debbie Meyer, Rose Mary Meyer and Doris Meyer; two cousins, Bill Olson and Justine Mottert. He is preceded in death by his father, Herman Meyer, mother, Margaret Meyer and 2 brothers Donald and Robert Meyer.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 12, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, in Warrenton. The funeral will be held Wednesday, December 13, at 10 a.m. also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Eternal Peace Cemetery in Wentzville. Memorials can be made to Wentzville Green Lantern in the care of Pitman Funeral Home.
