Teresita "Tessie" Humprey (nee: Manansala), of Warrenton, MO., passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021. She was born on May 1, 1944 in Angelo City, Philippines. She was 76 years old.
Tessie came to the United States from the Philippines in 1968. She worked tirelessly throughout her life to support her family. She enjoyed attending her children's and grandchildren's sporting and music events. Many will remember her as the most enthusiastic fan in the stands.
Tessie's hobbies included "yard sale-ing" and playing Bingo. She loved cooking traditional Filipino dishes with her family and enjoyed family poker games. Tessie had a unique and brutally honest demeanor that left an impression on anyone who met her. She was a hilarious and fun person to be around and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Tessie was preceded in death by Zenaida Banaag; her parents and several siblings. She is survived by her husband William; her brother Dominador; Pamela Banaag, Maritia Banaag, Russell Parish (Michelle), Rosalinda Humphrey (Dave), Jennifer Hoffmann (Tim), Theresa Maher (Matt), Caroline Sletten (Chris). She was loved by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Joey, Mark Jade, Kayla, Nicole, Justin, Jacob, Luke, William, Jasmine, Breanna, Daniel, Ethan, Tess, Issac, Alyssa, Maya, Martin, Clarence, and Prince. Three additional great-grandchildren will be born in 2021.
A Celebration of Life service for Tessie will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will also be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 beginning at 12:00 PM.
