The Class 3 state title evaded Dan Filipek for a second straight year on Saturday, as the Warrenton junior lost 2-1 to Hunter Shelton of Oak Park in the second tiebreaker of the 152-pound championship match.Filipek fell behind 1-0 before tying the match but ultimately lost by the same score as he did in last year's 145-pound title bout.The defeat was Filipek's first of the season, as he finished 53-1, breaking the school's single-season wins records previously owned by his older brother, J.J.Filipek was the only Warrenton grappler to reach the medal rounds at the MSHSAA Championships.
