Shirley Mae Hensiek (nee: McGee), 87, Warrenton, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020. Shirley was born to Floyd and Irene(nee: VanBibber) McGee on October 31, 1932, in Truesdale.

Shirley was united in marriage to Fredrick Roy "Pee Wee" Hensiek on July 23, 1954, in Warrenton. To this union were born two sons, Gary and Larry. They celebrated 44 years of marriage before his passing in 1999. Shirley enjoyed her career at the Binkley Company in Warrenton. She was an avid sports enthusiast. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, bingo, and staying at the family River Cabin on the Mississippi River, near Elsberry. She was a life long member of the College United Methodist Church. Shirley was a supportive spouse of a Warrenton Fire Chief and also supported two firefighting sons, of the Warrenton Volunteer Fire Department.

Shirley Hensiek is survived by her two sons, Gary Hensiek and wife Karen, of Warrenton, and Larry Hensiek, of Troy; four granddaughters, whom she was very proud of and loved so much, Rachel Rees, Rebecca McEwen, Heather Cortese, and Desirae Hensiek; eight great-grandchildren, Paige, Tanner, Dominic, Sophia, Asher, Parker, Emmerson, and Elsie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Hensiek; her parents, Floyd and Irene; three brothers, Donald, Floyd, and Roger McGee; one half-brother, Jimmy Piatt; one sister, Gladys Delzieth.

Graveside service for Shirley will be held Saturday, May 2, 2020, at Warrenton City Cemetery, 11 a.m.

Memorial donations are preferred to College United Methodist Church, c/o Martin Funeral Home, 510 East Main St., Warrenton, MO. 63383.
