Mrs. Shirley Frances Dotson (nee: Lee) of New Florence, MO, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. She was born on April 27, 1937, in Clintwood, VA, to the late Fritz and Virgie Lee. Shirley had reached the age of 85 years.
Shirley was united in marriage to Hobert Dotson in 1954 and spent many wonderful years together. To this union, two children were born, Deborah Walker and Rev. Steven Dotson.
Shirley devoted her life and herself to her family. She supported her husband and his business as a building contractor for many years. She also spent time working in various quick shops within Warren County. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, sister, and friend to many.
Those that are grateful for having shared in Shirley's life are her children, Deborah Walker and Rev. Steven Dotson; granddaughter, Mandy Pryor; and great-grandson, Alexander Pryor. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hobert Dotson; her parents; five brothers; a sister; a niece, Robyn Terry; and nephew, Kenneth Johancen. She was a dear aunt, cousin and friend to many; she will be missed by all who knew her.
A graveside service for Shirley was held Friday, July 1, 2022, at noon at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens.
