Shirley Anne Case

Shirley Anne Case, 85, of Warrenton, MO passed away Monday, December 21, 2020.

She was born June 9, 1935, in Bowling Green, MO to Bryan and Mary (Baxter) Frazier. She was a much-beloved teacher and administrator with Wright City Public Schools from 1968-2001. She taught and mentored hundreds of students over the years and left a lasting impact on many. Shirley was actively involved in the Troy chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution. She also collected antique buttons. Her specialty was 18th-century pearl buttons and she wrote a book on the topic. She was a member of the National Button Society and served as Judging Chairman for the national button shows. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, teacher, and friend who shared kindness and wisdom with everyone who knew her.

She leaves behind her husband of 54 years, Harry Case. Family members include One daughter, Julie Jaramillo, and husband Ron; and one son, Jason Case, and wife Angie. She has four grandchildren: Timothy P. Dippold, Erin Nguyen, and Sadie and Sophie Case. She also has two great-grandchildren: Elizabeth and Isla Nguyen and a nephew Steven Pappas​.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bryan and Mary; her sister, Mary Louise Pappas; and an infant son Gregory.

A public viewing will be held at Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main St., Warrenton, MO, Monday, December 28, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.

Masks and social distancing are required. A maximum of ten people will be allowed in at a time for the viewing.
