Mrs. Sharon Lee Bakameyer (nee: Twiehaus), of Warrenton, MO., passed away early on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. She was born on February 23, 1945, in Warren County to the late Wilford and Ethel (nee: Wilson) Twiehaus. Sharon had reached the age of 76 years and 8 days.
Sharon was a Long time member of Frieden's UCC in Warrenton. She was united in marriage to Lester August Bakameyer on March 22, 1975, in Warrenton. Sharon worked in the Warren County High School as a Librarian Assistant for many years. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan and enjoyed watching the games in person or on TV.
She also was very fond of attending her children and grandchildren's events, such as baseball, basketball, football games, and band concerts. Sharon enjoyed riding on the golf cart around her property with Lester and searching for mushrooms, checking the cows, and looking for wildlife. Sharon found great joy and happiness in spending her time with her grandchildren.
Sharon Bakameyer was preceded in death by her parents, Wilford and Ethel; one brother, Gerald Twiehaus. Those who are grateful for having shared in Sharon's life are her loving husband, Lester; children, Kristi Bakameyer, Jeff Bakameyer, and wife Jody; two grandchildren, Kinsey, Hunter; siblings, Mike Twiehaus and wife DeeDee, Terri Lenzenhuber and husband Tom; aunt, Marie Moore; brother and sister-in-laws, Shirley Buxton, Harold and Phyllis Bakameyer, Tom and Edna Surls; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
A Celebration of Sharon's life will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., followed by a private service with her family, at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton.
