Mrs. Ruby Delores (Nee: Feezel) Richardson, 84, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2019, at Jonesburg Nursing Home. She was born in Vandalia, Illinois on November 15, 1935, to Marlon and Lela (Nee: Landreth) Feezel. She was the youngest of seven brothers and sisters.
Delores met Thomas Eugene Richardson Sr. and they were married in Decatur, Illinois, on January 20, 1951. They spent 68 wonderful years together. She was a member of the Big River Civil War reenactment in Bonne Terre, Mo. She was also a lifetime member of the Wentzville VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 5327. She enjoyed going to rummage sales, to find good deals, fishing and listening to old country and western music. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Marlon and Lela; son, Thomas Richardson Jr.; grandson, Daniel Richardson; siblings, Alma Ellis, Luther Feezel, Gene Feezel, Bernice Caudill, Phillip Feezel and Donald Feezel. She is survived by her husband, Tom; children, Jack Richardson and wife Lou Ronna, Judy Brandenburg and husband Paul, Steve Richardson and wife Marie, Larry Richardson and wife Resa; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and many other friends and family.
