Roger L Gaffney passed away on November 15, at the age of 94. Roger was born January 31, 1930 in St. Louis, MO to the late Joseph and Jewel Gaffney nee Knobelock.
He is survived by his daughter, Rachel McDiarmid of Tumut, New South Wales, AU; sister, Dannelle Friedeck of Warrenton; 2 grandsons, Iain and Joseph; several nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Gaffney, mother, Jewel Gaffney, wife, Lila Gaffney, brother, Norman Gaffney, sister, Shirley Craden, sister, Babette Wessel.
Roger was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness-Warrenton, and served as an elder at the Kingdom Hall in Overland. Roger enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, playing cards, going out to eat, watching his favorite tv shows, and he especially enjoyed his sister Dannelle's cooking. He had a sweet tooth, and enjoyed his sweets daily. Roger loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral Service will be Sunday, November 24, at 3:30 P.M. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Warrenton. Memorials can be made to the Warrenton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in care of Pitman Funeral Home.
