Roger Herman Baldwin

Mr. Roger Herman Baldwin, of Wright City, passed away on Thursday, February 2, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 30, 1942, in Belleville, KS, to the late Clarence and Lorene (nee: Ahrens). Roger had reached the age of 80 years.

Roger was united in marriage to Myra Joy Downing on February 29, 1964, in Warrenton. To this union three children were born, Scott, Kelley, and Laura. They spent 53 wonderful years together before her passing in 2017. Roger worked for McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis as a purchasing manager for many years. Roger loved to travel and went on many adventures. When he was younger he enjoyed going fishing with his family. He liked to watch movies and was the family videographer. Roger's greatest joy came from his family. He loved spending time with all of his family but, he was partial to spending time with his grandchildren. Roger was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many.

Roger was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Myra Baldwin; his parents Clarence and Lorene Baldwin; two siblings, Lonnie Baldwin, and Tammy Baldwin; dear friend and brother-in-law, Larry Avery. Those family members who will remain grateful for the time they shared with Roger are his three children, Scott Baldwin and wife Lorna, Kelley Baldwin and Laura Cravens and husband Richard; eleven grandchildren, Joshua, Dillon, Connor, Madison (Justin), Makenzie, Alana, Emma, Jesse, Savannah, Colten, and Ava; two great-grandchildren, Bellamy and Baker; one sister, Janet Reynolds; many beloved brother and sisters-in-law; other relatives and many friends.

A memorial visitation will be held for Roger Baldwin on Friday, February 17, from 3:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. A memorial service will immediately follow at 5:00 P.M.
