Mr. Robert "Bob" Wheeler of Warrenton, passed away on Monday, June 12. He was born on June 2, 1938 in Callaway, to the late Verdell and Irene (nee: Davis) Wheeler. He had reached the age of 85 years.
Bob was a heavy equipment operator for many years. He loved riding his motorcycles and playing on the four-wheelers on his property. Bob enjoyed being outdoors and working at his ranch. He thoroughly enjoyed listening to Blues Music. Bob loved spending time with his family and close friend.
Bob was preceded in death by his loving parents Dell and Irene Witthaus and brother Henry "Mike" Wheeler. Those that are grateful for having shared in Bob's life are his two sons Russell and Scott Wheeler, 5 grandchildren, Sean Wheeler (Mandi), Lindsay Smith (Kyle), Brett Wheeler, Matt Wheeler (Alyssa), Cole Wheeler; 6 great-grandchildren, Jack, Luke, Augie, Benji, Rhys, and Hattie; two siblings Sandra Smith (Allen) and Donnie Wheeler; other relatives and many friends.
We will hold a Celebration of Life for Bob on Wednesday, June 21, from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Memorial donations may be made in honor of Bob to the Alzheimer's Association c/o Martin Funeral Home.
