Robert B. Gore passed away on June 9, at the age of 82. Robert was born April 16, 1941, in New Madrid County, to Raymond and Bertha Gore nee Mays.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Juanita Gore nee Boxdorfer, three daughters, Cheryl (John) Madlinger of Dupo, IL, Sheila Metcalf of Foristell, Delanie Gore of Wright City; brother, Roger Gore of Rector, AR; three sisters, Sheila Hainey of Sikeston, Sally White of Cape Girardeau; Joyce Johnson of Jefferson City. Nine grandchildren, Shawn, DJ, Kurt II, Robert, Nick, Karlie, Jakob, Cynthia, Genevieve; nine great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond R. Gore, mother, Bertha Gore, son-in-law, Jay Metcalf, 3 brothers, Alfred Gore, Jim Gore, Richard Gore, 3 sisters, Mildred Coffer, Sue Pickens, and Betty Rich.
Robert enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and eating snacks but he especially enjoyed his sweets. He loved spending time with his family, especially his children and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, in Warrenton. The funeral will follow at 12 p.m. The burial will be at Warrenton City Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Warren County Senior Center in the care of Pitman Funeral Home.
