Raymond Steven Schultz III passed away on July 19, at the age of 51. Ray was born March 13, 1972, in St. Louis, to Raymond and Judith Schultz nee Ansted.
Ray worked for Walmart for 12 years. Ray had a love for the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, and just being outdoors. Ray was a volunteer for the Missouri Dept. of Conservation and taught hunter safety courses, he also taught children with different handicaps how to fish. Not a lot of people knew this about Ray but he could play the guitar and had recently started playing again. He never knew a stranger, his personality could light up a room, and his smile was infectious. Ray loved supporting the Marine Corps, and VFW at their BBQ's you can guarantee he would never miss one. Ray enjoyed going out to eat at Denny's and Chinese, they were two of his favorites. Ray had a love for his "lady friends" but he truly cherished all his friends, especially his Walmart friends. Ray was a member of Faith Christian Family Church in Warrenton.
He is survived by his loving mother, Judy Schultz nee Ansted of Warrenton; step-dad, Doug Pyle of Warrenton; sister, Mary (David) Yurock of Caseyville, IL; two nieces, Brianna (Paul) Manno, Jackie Yates; fiance, Lacey Separa of Wright City; great-nieces, Sheradin and Mercy; uncle, Robert (Kathleen) Ansted; aunt, Gayle Ansted.
He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Schultz, brother, Thomas Schultz, and uncle, George Ansted. Ray will be truly missed by all who knew him and loved him but we all know that he is running in paradise.
A visitation will be held Saturday, August 5, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home in Warrenton. The funeral will follow at 4 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton. Memorials can be made to No Time to Spare Animal Rescue in care of Pitman Funeral Home.
