Mr. Raymond Arthur Stark, of Warrenton, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, at his home. He was born on April 27, 1944, in St. Louis, to the late John and Hilda (Nee: Helling) Stark. Ray had reached the age of 81 years.
Ray proudly served our country in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Carla Kay Mallard on December 14, 1968, in St. Louis. This union was blessed with three children, Ray Jr, Carrie, and Kyle. Ray was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying working on his properties, riding his jeep and tractor. Ray enjoyed traveling, whether alone or with his wife, Kay. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, teaching them to hunt and fish. Ray always told his children to be humble and kind. He was a very loyal and steadfast man, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Ray Stark was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hilda Stark; one brother, Jack Edward Stark. Those family members who will remain forever grateful for having been included in his life are his loving wife, Kay Stark; three children, Ray Stark Jr, Carrie Pauk, Kyle Stark and wife, Laura; six grandchildren, Makenna Stark, Madyson Stark, Katie Pauk, Andrew Pauk, Jack Stark and Nick Stark; one sister, Barbara Stark; other relatives and many close family friends.
A memorial visitation for Ray will be held on July 9, at St. John's Lutheran Church, in Warrenton beginning at 10 A.M. - 12 P.M. The memorial service will begin at 12 P.M. followed by a private burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors.
