Ralph V. Hellebusch

Mr. Ralph Victor Hellebusch, of Warrenton, passed away on Tuesday June 30. He was born on May 19, 1953 in Washington, Mo. to the late Herbert and Alice (nee: Bax) Hellebusch. Ralph had reached the age of 73.

Ralph proudly served our country in the Army National Guard during the Desert Storm Era. He loved his community and showed it through the many hours he dedicated to serving the residents of Warren County.  He worked with the Warren County EMS for many years and was one of the founders of the local Ambulance District. He was a member of the Missouri Ambulance Association, both the Warrenton and Wright City Chamber of Commerce, where he was voted the chamber person of the year, the Missouri Coroners Association, the Knights of Columbus and the Warrenton Villa Board of Directors. He also was involved with the local Back Stoppers, Warrenton Rotary Club, Turning Point, SSM Advisory Board and Eagle Scouts, where he helped with Merit Badges. He was also on the board for the Tribute to Veterans Memorial and the Avenue of Flags in Wright City.  Ralph was united in marriage to Kristina Marie Hausner on June 29, 1985 in Warrenton. They spent 41 happy years together, creating wonderful memories. He was a dedicated family man and loved his wife, children and grandchildren very deeply. Ralph was also very devoted to his faith and to his church, Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He rarely had a free minute, but when he did, he enjoyed taking walks with Tina at Binkley Park and chasing his grandchildren around. He also liked to watch investigative dramas, MASH and wrestling. Ralph was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend to many as well as being dedicated to serving his community with kindness and generosity.

Ralph Hellebusch was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Alice Hellebusch. He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Hellebusch; his children, Brenda (Flake) Polston and Stephanie Holdmeier (Tim); five grandchildren, Austin (Kayla), Logan (Veronica), Clayton Brooklyn, Sage and Harper; two great grandchildren, Georgia and Galilea; six siblings, Ambrose Hellebusch (Darlene), Francis Hellebusch (Betty), Andrew Hellebusch (Linda), Judy Mendenhall (Gene), Roland Hellebusch (Audrey), Norman Hellebusch (Gina); numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 7,  beginning at 10 A.M. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A burial will follow at the church cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to be given in lieu of flowers to the Tribute to Veteran's Memorial.
