Incoming Wright City seniors gathered at the high school on Aug. 11 to celebrate in what has become a new Wildcat tradition — painting their parking spots.
The class of 2024 is the second group of seniors to paint their spots, following the class that graduated in June.
“I’m very happy and grateful that we’re allowed to do it our senior year,” class president Tayla Payne said.
She also said the event is a good way to start their final year of school.
“It’s a new chapter,” she said. “We’re about to become adults. So us getting together, having fun really being creative is just a great way of starting off the year.”
