GETTING ROWDY — The Rowdy Wranglers did picking and grinning at the annual Sweet Corn Sunday, August 13, hosted by Magnificent Missouri. The event was held near the Treloar Mercantile and Missouri’s Biggest Ear of Corn on the Katy Trail. The Marthasville Fire Protection District provided sweet corn and brats. Proceeds will purchase ventilation fans for the department. Missouri Parks was on hand to answer questions about the Katy Trail.

SWEET CORN FESTIVAL — Despite rain, sweet corn, brats and music were served up at the annual Sweet Corn Sunday near the historic Treloar Mercantile at the Katy Trail Sunday, Aug. 13. The event benefits the Marthasville Fire Protection District Auxiliary, whose focus is to provide new ventilation fans for the department. The event was sponsored by Magnificent Missouri.
