A Pacific man suffered minor injuries in a one-car crash on Highway 47 in Warren County on Feb. 16, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at 6:20 a.m., before a winter storm caused multiple crashes throughout Warren County that shutdown Interstate 70 and parts of Highway 47.
According to the accident report, 53-year-old Jay P. Morris, of Pacific, was traveling southbound on Highway 47 south of Charrette Creek when he traveled off the side of the roadway. His 2023 International Box Truck then struck a tree and road sign before traveling down the embankment.
Morris was treated and released at the scene according to the report. He was not wearing his safety device.
The vehicle suffered moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
