Norbert Roy Heppermann of Wright City, passed away on July 23, at the age of 76. He was the beloved husband of Beverly Heppermann (nee: Nichols) of Wright City; He is survived by his two sons, Steven Heppermann, Matthew (Helen Naeger) Heppermann; daughter, Crystal (Chris Couchman) Heppermann; brother, Al (Barbara) Heppermann; sister-in-law, Diane Heppermann; brother-in-law, Bill Weinberger; eight grandchildren, Luckas Adkins, Anthony, Dakota, Montana, Madison, Austin, Susan, and Natalie Heppermann. He is preceded in death by his father, Alphons Heppermann, mother, Susan Heppermann (nee: Kline), brother, Robert Heppermann, brother, Paul Heppermann, sister, Barbara Weinberger.
Norbert was born August 14, 1947 in St. Charles, to the late Alphons and Susan Heppermann. Norbert grew up in Flint Hill, and graduated from Ft. Zumwalt High School in 1966. Norbert served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War conflict. On November 13, 1971, Norbert married his wife Beverly at Assumption Catholic Church in O' Fallon, Missouri and from this union, they were blessed with three children. Steven, Matthew, and Crystal. Norbert was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Warrenton.
Norbert was a very hard worker and you would find him using his bob cat on his property and raising cattle. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, playing cards and playing dirty marbles. He was a loving man who loved to help others. He was a member of the American Legion Post 323, Wentzville. Norbert will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A visitation will be held Friday, July 26, from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville. The funeral will be held Saturday, July 27 at 10 A.M. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Warrenton. The family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.
