Mrs. Nella Mae Williams (nee: Proffitt), 89, Warrenton passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020, in Washington. She was born on December 13, 1930, in Blodgett, Mo.
Nella was married to Omer Williams on April 24, 1949, in Peveley, Mo. They celebrated 59 wonderful years together before his passing in 2008. Nella and Omer owned their own Lawn Care center in several different areas of the United States. She worked as the bookkeeper for their business. Nella enjoyed being outside and always kept her own yard very pretty with many flowers. Nella was baptized when she was young in the Baptist Church.
Mrs. Nella Williams was preceded in death by her loving husband, Omer; her parents, Guy and Blanche (nee: Sanders) Proffitt; one brother, William Proffitt; one sister, Betty Daniels; and one stepbrother, Otto Striebel. She is survived by her siblings, Myrna Wiss, Richard Proffitt and wife Aletha, Carole Barrett and husband Jake, and James Striebel and wife Sandy; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of life service for Nella Mae Williams will be held at the later date.
The family is being served by the Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.
