Nancy Jane Lane (nee: Gregg) passed away comfortably at her home Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at the age of 84. Nancy was born on Oct. 10, 1937, in Canonsburg, PA, to Donald and Virginia Gregg.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 62 years, Keith Lane. Nancy and Keith married on Jan. 28, 1959. She is also survived by son Greg lane and his wife Judy of Truesdale, daughter Kimberly (Lane) Brutsman and her husband Bruce of Warrenton, and grandson Clayton Lane and his wife Kalib of Warrenton.
Nancy loved bingo, cards and playing board games with family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling, cooking and baking. She had a green thumb and raised African violets among other flowers and plants. Nancy worked in retail women’s department stores throughout the years before retiring to spend more time with family and friends. She was a member of College United Methodist Church and a loyal member of the Elsie Hummel Society.
A celebration of life will be held at College United Methodist Church on a date to be announced.
