Two people were injured Saturday, Feb. 11, when their motorcycle crashed on Highway M near Franklin Road in Warrenton.The Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveled off the left side of the roadway and hit a utility pole, ejecting both occupants, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.Brian Buerck, 53, the driver of the motorcycle, had a possible ankle injury, shoulder pain and abrasions to the head and face, said Ralph Hellebusch, administrator of Warren County Ambulance District. He was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Lake Saint Louis by Warren County Ambulance.Dawn Buerck, 55, the passenger, was thrown 85 feet in the crash. She had a fractured ankle and lower back pain. She was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis by Warren County Ambulance.Brian Buerck was later arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and second-degree assault, according to the highway patrol.Motorcycle
