Motion filed to revoke ex-Warren County Assessor's probation

Convicted former Warren County Assesor Wendy (Nordwald) Kozma will be back in court on June 2.

Warren County Prosecutor Kelly King has filed a motion to revoke Kozma's probation for failing to pay restitution, she said in an email to  The Warren County Record.

Kozma was sentence in August 2022 by Judge Sonya Brandt of Osage County, after agreeing to plead guilty to 15 charges of stealing. Upon recommendation from Warren County Prosecutor Kelly King, Brandt issued a 10-year prison sentence, but will allow Kozma to be released on probation after 120 days on the condition that she pay full restitution to the Missouri State Assessors Association.

The Warren County Record will cover the hearing at the Warren County Courthouse. A request has been  submitted to the judge through the Warren County Circuit Clerk 's office for permission to record the hearing.
