Michael A. Wood passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 65. He was the beloved husband of Jane Selzer Wood of Wentzville, Missouri; He is survived by his wife; daughter, Jennifer (Stephen) Stanfill of Wentzville, MO; three sisters, Kathleen "Kathy" Pfeifer of Wentzville, MO, Frances "Fran" (Mike) Friedman of Lake St. Louis, MO, Anne (Mike) Rachuy of Lake Orion, MI; brother, William "Bill" (Margie) Wood of Centennial, CO; two grandchildren, Audrey Stanfill, Charlie Stanfill; best friend, Richard Baker of Liberty, MO; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Mary Frances Devereaux Wood, daughter, Jessica Wood, brother, Patrick Wood.
Mike was a member of Wentzville Christian Church, served on the Board of Trustees at Lindenwood University, Board Member and Treasurer of Missouri KIDS, and former Board Member of Easter Seals Midwest. He had many hobbies including boating and car collecting, but he especially cherished his time spent with family.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Parkway, P.O Box 248, Wentzville, Missouri 63385.
