Why are you running and why should people vote for you?
After almost 8 years in Union, Missouri I realized the citizens of Missouri, District #26 in particular, were not given a choice on their ballots with only one point of view being offered. Our state is in trouble financially our current legislators are not representing the "little guy". Our schools are being defunded as well as rural hospitals and our farmers can't afford to produce the necessary crops to feed the people. Data Centers are not regulated and the taxes they should be levied are given away. I alone cannot change what is happening but if elected along with other like minded candidates we can forge a positive change for Missouri.
What are your goals if elected?
Regulate the Data Centers starting before a drill bit hits the ground. Require developers to provide to citizens a geological study along with their plans for development. Developers must be transparent about their plans allowing communities a voice in what happens. Outlaw NDA's, for elected individuals and their staffs.
Return to fully funding public schools and develop solutions to the loss of hospitals and medical care in rural communities.
What issues are most pressing for your constituency?
Data centers are the biggest issue along with healthcare and affordability, i.e. fuel prices, cost of housing, cost of electricity, food costs, cost of health insurance.
