Mr. Max Wayne Shinkle, of Warrenton, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the Harry S. Truman VA Hospital in Columbia. He was born on March 5, 1949, in Muncie, IN, to the late Harley Wayne and Maxine Rebecca (nee: Smith) Shinkle. He had reached the age of 72 years.
Max is survived by his wife, Mary; five children, Maxine Destra, Curt Shinkle and wife Carrie, Josh Shinkle and wife Harmony, Jason Bierbrauer and wife Chrissy, Andy Bierbrauer; three sisters, Priscilla Shinkle, Harlina Conner and husband Leonard, Jill Taylor and husband David; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Maxine; one sister, Bonnie George.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 10 a.m. to noon at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will begin at noon, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
