Ms. Mary Ann Seymour (nee: Gish) of Wright City, MO., passed away peacefully on Monday, January 4, 2021. Mary was born on September 14, 1941, in Mexico, MO., to the late Lloyd and Leva Mae (nee: Colvin) Gish. Mary had reached the age of 79 years, 3 months, and 21 days.
Mary worked as a billing specialist in the medical field for many years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also kept in touch with several life long friends. Mary loved reading mystery books and playing board games.
She also enjoyed social media, especially Facebook. When she was younger Mary loved to go camping with her family, going bowling, and working in the yard. Mary and her youngest daughter, Linda, were inseparable and they enjoyed spending time together. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Mary Ann Seymour was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Leva Mae; five siblings, Bill Gish, Virginia Folta, Dorothy Henderson, Clarence Gish, and James Gish; one sister in law, Carolyn Gish; one son in law, Larry Huston; one brother in law, Jack Folta.
Those grateful for having shared in Mary's life are her children; Lisa Huston, Rick Vaughn and wife Wanda, Lori Moritz and husband Bill, Linda Vaughn, eight grandchildren; Andrew Huston, Teresa Steen and husband Scott, Ricky Vaughn, Ryan Vaughn, Robert Vaughn and wife Carly, Shawn Moritz, Daniel Moritz, and Rachel Moritz and fiance' Brett Arnold, six great-grandchildren, one brother; Robert Gish, other relatives, and many friends.
A Celebration of Mary's life will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
