Mark W. O'Neill of Warrenton, passed away on April 19, at the age of 59.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Warrenton. Mark served on the St. Charles County Police force for 31 years and was a 4th Degree Knight. After his service with the police force, he worked for the St. Charles County Medical Examiner's office and Warren County Coroner. In his spare time, he enjoyed going hunting, playing golf, and boating. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie O'Neill (nee Martin) of Warrenton; his two daughters, Jennifer O'Neill of Warrenton, and Kristy Nizzola of St. Louis; step-son, Lawrence Hart of Kansas City; two sisters, Cynthia O'Neill and Maura O'Neill both of O'Fallon; two grandchildren, Dylan and Nathan; He is preceded in death by his father, William John O'Neill, III, mother, Susan Jane O'Neill (nee Walker).
A visitation will be held Friday, April 28 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville. The funeral is being held on Saturday, April 29 at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Warrenton.
