A Wright City man convicted in 2018 for child enticement has been charged with 32 additional crimes stemming from videos and images of child pornography located on his cell phone.
Dillon E. Horstdaniel, 29, was arrested in May 2018 after arranging to meet with a Wright City police officer who was posing online as a 13-year-old girl. He pleaded guilty to the child enticement charge and was sentenced in December 2018 to seven years in prison.
Prosecutors have now filed charges related to dozens of videos found on Horstdaniel’s phone, depicting children engaged in graphic sex acts, according to charging documents.
The phone was analyzed by the St. Charles Cyber Crimes Task Force after Horstdaniel was arrested, and the contents were provided to local law enforcement in July 2018, documents state.
No court date has been set for Horstdaniel’s new charges. He remains incarcerated with the Missouri Department of Corrections.
